A moment of prayer

Tonight once more the moon would grey
And stars from open eyelids would silently fall
Words spoken before the lips do shudder
Would leave their tracks on lands barren all
No heart would jolt and no heartbeats felt
But she will before the sky have knelt
Each hand clutching the other, for dear life may depart
They've pulled her soul to keep it with the heart
Before the heavens do asunder
She'll hope her God knows shes praying right under...
